CARES envisions a future where all people have access to safe, affordable housing and the social supports to remain housed. CARES is a non-profit organization that empowers communities to end homelessness through community planning, program data, supportive housing, and awareness-building. CARES collaborates with communities towards the creation of systems that end and prevent homelessness.

 

CREATE is dedicated to providing a space where the benefits of art-making impact both the individual and the community as a whole. CREATE offers low-cost art workshops and groups, community wellness activities, and open studios to promote art-making and the creative process as a vehicle for personal growth, communication, and social change.

 

Mechanicville Area Community Services Center (MACSC) is committed to improve the lives of area residents through family support, empowerment, recreation and education. MACSS aims to to promote healthy relationships between families and the community at large.

MACSC is not only a community center, but a true center for the community.

 

The Prevention Council works to prevent alcohol, drug and other substance abuse throughout Saratoga County by providing education, information and referral services on the subjects of alcohol, tobacco, other drug and violence prevention to individuals and local communities, thereby enhancing the quality of life for all citizens by diminishing the adverse effects of substance abuse and violence.

 

The Salvation Army Saratoga aims to stand in the gap to provide wraparound services to children, families, and individuals from all backgrounds and stages of life, to help end intergenerational poverty through means of financial, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual care. he Salvation Army has relied heavily on volunteers —the army behind The Army — who help fulfill our promise to do the most good.

 

The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce initiates and provides programs and services to enhance and promote a healthy economy, making Saratoga County an ideal place to work, live and visit. It seeks to provide a strong, sustainable and county-wide. When tomorrow arrives, we will be ready. We’ll have flights to book, places to park and jobs to pursue.

 

The Saratoga Springs Planning Office reviews development projects proposed within the City, provides recommendations to City Council, and also provides a forum for public comment on issues dealing with development of our community.

 

VCHC has made a commitment to help homeless Veterans attain and maintain permanent housing, achieve financial stability, have access to health care and regain their dignity. The programs of Veterans & Community Housing Coalition provide a resource and ray of hope for homeless Veterans.

 

Wellspring is the domestic violence and sexual assault services agency in Saratoga County and also provides sexual assault services only in Washington County. Wellspring provides a full range of no-cost, confidential crisis and support services to any person directly or indirectly impacted by relationship or sexual abuse, as well as prevention and social change programming.

CHS addresses the difficult issue of homelessness through several programs and services, which include; a Runaway and Homeless Youth Emergency Shelter for teens, a Street Outreach Program, a permanent supportive housing program for homeless youth and young adults ages 18 - 25, and a housing and eviction prevention programs for adults and families.

CHS strives to be a recognized leader in finding effective solutions to social issues.

RISE provide safe, healthy housing programs and support services to people with mental health concerns, substance use, and other life challenges.

The mission at RISE is to help people living with mental health, substance use, and other life challenges to remain safe and healthy in the community through housing and supportive services.

 

Saratoga Community Health Center is here for all people in our community who need care — regardless of income. The Health Center high quality, primary, dental, behavioral and addiction medicine health services to members of our community regardless of their insurance status and ability to pay.

 

Saratoga County Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services mission is to provide outpatient mental health and alcohol/drug treatment services that are accessible and responsive to the needs of persons suffering from mental illness and/or alcohol/drug problems, their families, and the community.

SOS provides housing and food stability services for adults experiencing homelessness in the Saratoga region. SOS programs include outreach, emergency shelter and low-income housing.

 

SAIL promotes the independence, equality and dignity of people with disabilities in all aspects of personal and community life. For people with disabilities, Independent Living means knowing what services and supports are available; having the ability to choose the services that are right for them; and taking responsibility for personal choices and actions.
